The application for support must be submitted via the form below by the deadline on 28 February 2026.
The financial support is only available to early-career researchers, defined as enrolled PhD students or post-doctoral researchers within 5 years of their PhD award (excluding career breaks).
Financial support is only available for active in-person participation in the Solar Wind 17 Conference. Successful applicants are expected to present their research at the meeting (either as a talk or as a poster) and to participate actively in the meeting.
The maximum available amount for support is 500 GBP per person.
Payment will be made on submission of receipts in the form of a reimbursement after the conference. Receipts must be submitted by 31 July 2026. Successful applicants will receive further instructions in due course.
Successful applicants are required to acknowledge our sponsors in their presentations and in any publications arising from their attendance of Solar Wind 17.
Successful applicants are required to inform the conference organisers immediately if their intention to claim this support changes.
